Payment Info.

+ Is my payment secure?

Payment in USD is securely processed by the trusted international service, PayPal. All major credit cards are accepted and you do not require a PayPal account to shop on Vasgevang.

Payment in ZAR is securely processed by the trusted local service, PayFast. All major credit cards are accepted and you do not require a PayPal account to shop on Vasgevang.

+ What currencies are supported?

All prices are expressed in both ZAR and USD. When the purchase is made via PayPal and is paid with a currency other than USD, then you will have an option upon checkout to select whether the exchange rate be determined by PayPal or by your bank.

+ Can I pay via EFT?

If you pay in ZAR via PayFast then you will be give an option to pay via EFT. Just follow the steps.

If you pay in USD via PayPal, you will need to log in to your PayPal account to check if an EFT option is offered. If not, please feel free to contact the artist.


 

Edition, Artwork Size and Media.

+ What is the size of the edition?

Each artwork is a limited edition of 5 and 1 artist's proof. This means that each individual work will retain its value over time. The five editions are arbitrarily numbered and have equal value.

*A certificate of authenticity accompanies each print.

+ What technique is used for printing?

Giclée is an archival process that refers to an individually produced, high-resolution, high-quality fine art digital print, using both archival media and inks. This means that your print is guaranteed to last between 80–100 years, with the exception of direct sunlight, storage and most importantly, the way the prints are handled.

The prints are produced by Orms Print Room, Cape Town.

+ What media (paper) is used for printing?

100% natural cotton rag 300 gsm. This fine art paper is acid free, lignin free and pH buffered, which means that it is guaranteed to last between 80 and 100 years, with the exception of direct sunlight, storage and most importantly, the way the prints are handled. Learn more about this paper.

+ What artwork sizes are available?

All artworks sizes are an expression of space and time as it relates to the theme of the image and the series.

Availability of sizes per image may vary. Please refer to individual images for sizes or feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

+ Do you offer framed artworks?

Artworks are unframed, but feel free to contact the artist if you would like assistance in selecting a frame to compliment the artwork. The artist works in collaboration with renowned, archival framers, Wessel Snyman Creative (based in Cape Town and Johannesburg). Wessel uses local and ethically sourced materials whenever possible.


Shipping & Handling.

+ Is my artwork sufficiently protected for shipping?

Yes. Each print is wrapped with a sheet of tissue paper, padded and placed in a "flatpack" cardboard container. It is shipped by trusted partners from Cape Town, South Africa to almost anywhere in the world.

+ When do I pay for shipping?

Shipping within South Africa is FREE.

If you live outside of South Africa, you will be invoiced separately for shipping, based on your location when your artwork is ready to ship. Please see prices below.

+ What is the price of shipping?

South Africa - FREE - Delivery can take 1–2 weeks from receipt of payment.

Europe & United Kingdom - $55 - Depending on its final destination and customs, delivery can take 4–8 weeks from receipt of payment. Shipping includes packaging.

North America & Rest of the world - $100 - Depending on its final destination and customs, delivery can take 4–8 weeks from receipt of payment. Shipping includes packaging.
